Since September, VIP has switched to a new payment system for VIP activities. Because of this new system, a few things have changed for you. We want to inform you about these changes through this message.

Before this year, tickets for VIP-activities (workshops, parties, lectures et cetera) were for sale at the hall of the Heymans building, on specific times, or at the doorsale from the activity. Tickets were always paid in cash.

We think this system is not up to date anymore and that is why this year we have implemented a new system for selling tickets for VIP-activities, online at the VIP-site. With the new system you can sign up for activities with your VIP-account. The sign-up button can be found by clicking on the event you’re interested in at the calendar on the VIP-site.

Signing up can be done from about two weeks before the activity on, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The sign up stays open until 2 pm, when the activity takes place at the same day in the evening. The sign up stays open until 2 pm the day before the activity when the activity takes place in the morning or afternoon. While the activity isn’t sold out yet, there is the possibility to buy a ticket with cash at the door. When you accidentally sign up for an activity on the VIP-site, it is possible to sign out until the sign up closes, unless otherwise specified.

You can also bring +1’s to VIP-activities (who aren’t VIP-members themselves). The costs of their attendance will be withdrawn from your bank account. They can also buy tickets at the door, if those are still available.

The costs for the activities that you’ve signed up for in the past month, will be withdrawn from your account at the end of that month. You will always be notified of this via e-mail. If you want to know for which activities you still have to pay: go to the VIP-site and then to My VIP > Profile > My purchases. The 'unpaid purchases' will be withdrawn on the date mentioned above.

We hope that with this new system, signing up for activities is going to be a lot easier for you. If you haven’t signed a SEPA-direct debit form yet, then come by at the VIP-office on working days between 11 and 15 (h.141).
