Do you like barbeques, beer, and a little fun in the sun? 

Then you’ll love the Bata Beach Party. This weekend from April 23rd-25th will include a Covid friendly barbeque at the beach, a chance to partake in some great activities and of course a chance to win some great prizes if you really show us your summer Holidays spirit.

The weekend will start with a socially distanced barbeque, weather allowing, in a nice open space near the city. Here we hope that people can enjoy a cold beer, some good food, and a chance to meet some fellow participants. Hawaiian shirts optional but strongly encouraged

As a group, our goal is to run a combined (but thankfully not individual) 125km! You will have the option to run distances between 3-10km and you will be able to do this either alone or in a small group with the option of a musical escort, at time that works for you. Completion of the race will of course include a stellar goodie bag too. There will also be points along the race where completion of a task will gain you some extra time (and enjoyment). There will be prizes for best time and best themed costumes of course

This Event will include a fun training plan prior to the Event, with motivational messages and a good dose of friendly banter. In a matter of 2 weeks you will no longer be psychology students, only instruments of speed.
