Think Tank: Groningen Seaports

We are happy to announce that the first Think Tank of this year will take place on Monday, 17 February! Since Psychology is a very theoretical study, a Think Tank is the perfect opportunity for you to use your skills and knowledge by applying them in a real-life setting. During a Think Tank, you are presented with a specific case that a company is struggling with. You get the chance to contribute actively to a company’s policy and you learn how to use your Psychological knowledge and skills in a real-life setting. This Think Tank will be in cooperation with Groningen Seaports. This is the economic operator and authority of the port of Delfzijl and Eemshaven and the adjoining industrial sites. Their specific case will be about innovations within the port of Delfzijl and Eemshaven. For example; what is needed to convince a company to innovate? And what kind of motivation do they need? You will brainstorm about these kind of questions to help Groningen Seaports and hopefully they can use your ideas in their policies and decision-making! It is not necessary to know anything about this topic in advance, a fresh view is even better.

We will have dinner together at Groningen Seaports! The CEO of the company will give us an introduction about the company and the case. After this, we will start brainstorming.
