Career Night: Clinical and Psychosocial Epidemiology

Have you ever thought about doing a research master? And would you like to gain an insight on what it’s like to do one? Come join the career night where you will have a look inside the Clinical and Psychosocial Epidemiology master!

CPE is a master that combines biology, medicine and psychology. There is a strong focus on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of physical and mental health conditions, taking clinical, public health, and psychosocial factors into consideration.
Within the master, there are also four research departments that you can specialize in: epidemiology, public health, health psychology and psychiatry.

During the career evening, there will be three speakers who will tell you something about their experience within the master. CPE track-coordinator Hanneke Wardenaar-Wigman will give an introduction about the program and tell something about her field of expertise, psychiatry! Next to this, there will be two alumni talking about their experience doing a PhD and about choosing a career outside the academy.
During this, there also will be time to ask questions and you’ll have the time to enjoy some drinks and snacks!

The event is free for members and €1,- for non-members!
