We are excited to announce that our second lecture will be on the topic of Cults!
It will take place on December 12th from 18:00 to 20:00 at Grand Café Time Out (Poelestraat 34-36). First 30 people to arrive will get a free drink! 

Our speaker is Arjan Van Dijk, a coach and counsellor. “At the age of 17, he entered a monastery to study theology, which turned out to be a very sectarian and manipulative organisation. It took him some years to break free from that.”

The lecture will cover the topic of undue influence which is “the driving force behind any toxic group or relationship”.

In the lecture, Arjan will answer questions such as:
* How does the psychological phenomenon of 'undue influence' work?
* How is it used by cults, sects, narcissists and demanding groups?
* How can you avoid becoming a victim of undue influence?
* What is the way out when gurus, cults or charismatic people have taken hold of you?
* How can you take back your life? And guide others to do the same?
