Before the study year will start in September, there will be a welcoming period for all new psychology students during the last week of the summer holiday. First we have the Diesweek, which will take place from Monday the 26th of August to Wednesday the 28th of August 2019. During the Diesweek we will celebrate the birthday of VIP, which will turn 38 years this year! You will be placed in a small group with other first year psychology students, and your group will be guided by a pair of older VIP members. Together with your group you will go to different parties and do other fun activities. You will meet lots of new upcoming students and make friends for the rest of your study! The costs for the Diesweek will be around 25 euros. You have to be a VIP-member to be able to join the Diesweek and/or introduction camp, so make sure to first sign up as a VIP-member here:https://www.vipsite.nl/membership/sign-up/personalia before signing up for the Diesweek and/or the Introduction camp!

After the Diesweek there will be an introduction camp. This year were going to Ameland (one of the Dutch islands) where there will be a lot of fun activities to get to know your fellow students even better! The camp will take place from Friday the 30th of August till Sunday the 1st of September 2019. The spots at the camp are limited. So full = full.The costs of the introduction camp is around 50 euros. Sign up at this page for the introduction camp! At this moment, there is a waiting list for the introduction camp. Make sure to get on this waiting list if you would still like to join the camp, there is still a good chance that you can get a spot in the end!
