As part of the Policy Plan of the 46th Board we are going to be working with inclusive disclaimers before selected events. In this page you can find an explanation of the disclaimers. Please be aware that the disclaimers are SUBJECTIVE and based on personal experience/expectations. As always, if you have any feedback or questions please reach out to us (vip.gmw@rug.nl).

We will be using a traffic light system, with each color representing another scale. Below you will find a list of what the colors mean.

Location

🟩 The location is fully accessible to wheelchair users/less able bodied people

🟨 The location is partly accessible to wheelchair users/less able bodied people (may need assistance or part of location not accessible)

🟥The location is not accessible to wheelchair users/less able bodied people

Noise

🟩 A quiet event with possibility of having a quiet conversation

🟨 Moderately loud event, there is possibility of conversation but there will be quite some background noise

🟥Loud event with loud music/noises

Crowds

🟩 Up to 25 people

🟨 25-40 people

🟥40+ people

Lights

🟩 Normal lighting

🟨 Low-intensity/adapted lighting

🟥Flashing lights and strobes
